Personal Profile
Nicholas Padnos graduated from the Golden Gate University School of Law and has dedicated his legal career to the fields of educational equity, student rights protection, and related legal services. He has played an important role in the development of the Learning Rights Law Center (LRLC), focusing on legal challenges faced by underserved individuals in education and helping advance legal services designed to protect the rights of students and families.
During his tenure at LRLC, Mr. Padnos served as both Executive Director and Co-Executive Director, overseeing organizational operations, legal program development, and strategic planning. As Executive Director, he helped supervise key areas of the organization, including attorney management, fundraising, human resources, board coordination, grant applications, and long-term organizational planning.
From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Padnos served as Co-Executive Director of LRLC, where he managed the organization’s litigation practice. He focused on direct legal advocacy, worked closely with students, families, and community members, and guided LRLC attorneys in providing legal services to help protect the educational rights of students and families.
With years of experience in educational rights advocacy, Mr. Padnos remains committed to advancing educational equity through legal services and providing professional support to individuals and families facing education-related legal challenges.
